I have been retained by a large and reputable mortgage company to identify 3 Senior Mortgage Processors for Underwriting positions for there Corporate Head Offices located in Sunrise, Florida.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

Maintain a productivity level of 6-8 loans per day and comply with company policy of a 24-hour underwriting turnaround time and a 24-hour turnaround time for clearing conditions.
Complete a thorough analysis of loan files to determine compliance with company and investor guidelines with little or no errors and omissions.
Evaluate the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans and ultimately ensure an "investment" quality loan product.
Communicate decision on loans to appropriate parties both verbally and in writing.
Maintain underwriting activity logs and provide monthly underwriting report to Underwriting Manager.

Requirements: 

A minimum of three (3) years processing experience.
Sound working knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC, ALT-A, Subprime, and FHA/VA guidelines.
Familiarity with private investor and private mortgage insurance guidelines.
VERY detail oriented.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
Analytical ability with an aptitude for figures.
