Sr. Systems Analyst

Spherion was founded in 1946, and currently has over 735 locations nationwide. Our client base includes 85% of the Fortune 100 Companies. This is a six month contract to hire job opportunity with our client who is located in Santa Ana, CA.

 

Senior System Analyst/Lead Job Description:

Gathers, compiles, analyzes and documents information regarding business processes. Develops business requirements specifications, and produces deliverables related to projects assigned. Works closely with customers, business representatives, and other project team members to understand business, design and functional requirements that drive quality technical solutions.

Communicates requirements to project team members verbally and in the form of written business requirements, user interface specifications, printed output specifications and similar documents. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. May write user manuals describing installation and operating procedures. Works on problems involving complex business requirements and processes.

 

Senior System Analysts are challenged to develop and maintain credibility and effective working relations with both customer management and IT personnel in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business problems, as well as IT strategies, issues, and priorities.

Job Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or relevant discipline

Must have 8 to 10 years of successful, progressive business and systems analysis experience

Comprehensive domain knowledge in mortgage originations, secondary market
or loan servicing required

Must have experience in software development lifecycle methodologies and deliverables

Advanced interviewing skills

Ability to document existing business processes, user processes, and business models.? Ability to analyze and formulate solutions to complex business problems

Ability to identify and produce analysis models, use cases and story boards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Ability to work effectively alone or in a team environment

Ability to set and manage customer expectations if necessary

Ability to create Business Use Cases, System Use Cases, Functional Specifications, and Technical Specifications

Knowledge of RUP, XML, Clearcase and Clearquest

Ability to document existing user processes in UML
