Supervisor - Mortgage Document Preparation

We are currently seeking a Doc Prep Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising the employees in the Document Preparation Department.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

?  Supervise the day-to-day Document Preparation group function/operation. 

?  Assist in the training and development of the Document Preparation staff.

?  Solve complex document preparation problems and issues.

?  Delegate and review the work of the Document Preparation associates daily.

?  Provide customer service to internal and external clients regarding the closing process.

?  Provide closing status reports to management as requested.

?  Perform operational process reviews and make recommendations to improve the document preparation process.

?  Complete direct report?s annual reviews with the assistance of the Manager.  Assists the Document Preparation Manager in the delivery of those reviews.

?  Provide input into the hiring of new employees.

?  Work in conjunction with the manager to provide coaching and/or discipline when necessary.

?  Assist the manager with maintenance of time and attendance resolutions

?  Performs other duties as required.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 10:30 am ? 7:30 pm; 40+ hours per week

 

EDUCATION:

Bachelor?s Degree; will allow substitution of job experience in lieu of a degree.

 

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE: 

A minimum of 3 years? experience in a mortgage/lending closing operation environment or its equivalent required.  Must be able to solve problems using sound judgment and experience.  Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
