Support Specialist

Guaranty Bank is seeking a self-motivated, analytical individual to join our mortgage rate sheet team team as a Support Specialist in our Secondary Marketing department. This individual must possess strong MS Excel skills and have the ability to balance and complete multiple projects independently.

 

As the Support Specialist, the primary responsibilities will be:

1. Process internal and external pricing to create and publish mortgage rate sheets on a daily basis;

2. Act as a resource for other departments on mortgage rate sheet questions;

3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding rate sheet pricing;

4. Work with other departments to design and publish new mortgage rate sheets;

5. Maintain changes to rate sheets due to corrections, requests and product changes;

6. Verbally confirm trades made by the Capital Markets department;

7. Maintain current procedures and create new documentation when needed;

8. Create pricing expressions;

9. Verify Unifi pricing expressions;

10. Complete additional projects and duties as needed.

 

The qualified candidate must have an Associate?s degree or equivalent, or six months or one year related experience. Must be able to focus on projects while completing daily routines, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide good customer service. The ability to problem-solve in a proactive, results oriented manner is required. Must be detail oriented, have exceptional organizational skills and be able to take initiative. Time management skills and the ability to work in a team environment are critical. MS Access, Visual Basic for Applications, mortgage industry, Unifi and/or loan pricing experience helpful, but not required.
