Title Clearance Coordinator

Nationwide Appraisal Services Corporation is an appraisal and title management company providing services to the mortgage and financial industry across the country.  We are currently located in Canonsburg, PA and anxiously anticipating a move to a new state-of-the-art building in Washington, PA by the end of 2006.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Title Clearance Coordinator.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The title clearance functions to clear all clouds on title prior to the loan closing for proper lien position for lender.  This function includes receiving loan payoffs, judgment payoffs, and subordination.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

? Perform a daily review of the title clearance work in progress.

? Plan a daily routine of clearance in any organized manner by teams needed.

? Perform contact with client to confirm title issues on payoffs, judgment and subordination.

? Identify clearance items by specific client requirements.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ? Computer understanding with the ability to type 30 words per minute.

? The person should possess professionalism, and be well spoken.  It is preferred that the person possess customer service excellence as well as title knowledge and management abilities.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Education - High school graduate or equivalent required; College degree in the BSBA sector is preferred.

 

Experience - Six months appraisal and title industry (or related field) is required, with one year preferred.
