Job Description

Our client is a public REIT with a premium quality portfolio in North America and Europe. The Company is on a dynamic growth path both in the US and in Europe and anticipates considerable growth in its portfolio over the next two to three years. Our client is seeking an experienced professional to lead all financial activities including capital markets and finance, treasury, accounting and controls, financial reporting and tax. The successful candidate will be an accomplished finance and accounting professional with significant capital markets experience and In-depth knowledge of accounting issues, procedures and terminology as they relate to the real estate industry.  The successful candidate must also have solid business acumen, strong managerial and leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

 

Skills

? 15+ years of progressively challenging real estate industry experience and a proven track record in an accounting, finance/capital markets, and/or banking environment.

? Proven track record directing public and private debt and equity capital markets transactions.

 

? Strong ability to manage the financial function, and embody credibility with investors, Wall Street and major clients.

? A significant background in investor relations functions. 

? Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, demanding and dynamic environment.

? Creative and forward thinker with a strong intellect, and the ability to make decisions in a timely and effective manner.

? Knowledge of tax, accounting and reporting issues related to European operations a significant plus.

? Undergraduate degree required and MBA/CPA highly desirable.
