Responsiblities:
As an Account Executive at Kirkwood Financial, you will be assigned a designated geographic sales territory where you will market KFC?S signature products to mortgage brokers and other mortgage lenders. Your primary responsibilities would be to build, develop, and maintain business relationships with mortgage brokers via cold-calling, networking, trade shows, etc. This entails coordination with our wholesale operations to close sales. Your days will consist of meeting and presenting to your clients while growing your sales pipeline. An inside Account Coordinator will partner with you to provide excellent customer service to your clients to ensure they receive updates throughout the entire loan process. Our cutting-edge, web-based technology will track your loans from submission to funding. Your Manager and our Marketing department will keep you sharp and up to date on the latest changes in pricing and products.
Can you:
? Consistently achieve monthly goals for loan submissions, fundings, conversion and profitability.
? Travel throughout the assigned territory to conduct sales calls to third party mortgage brokers and other mortgage lenders to originate loans, develop new clients, maintain existing broker and other relationships, and act as liaison between internal staff and clients.
? Develop new accounts by assisting with the necessary paperwork in order to approve brokers, and maintain existing relationships with those broker partners.
? Provide accurate pricing and pre-qualification information for brokers manually.
? Assist Broker staff in obtaining available Borrower documentation, then review and submit the documentation for approval.
? Work closely with Account Coordinators and Underwriters to ensure the timely processing and closing of loan files and assist Operations staff in obtaining all required conditions for a successful completion of the sales process.
? Educate mortgage broker clients on how to work effectively engage with KFC through on-going product and business process training.
? Remain constantly available to brokers in order to address their questions and concerns about the company
? Increase personal growth and education in the industry by attending seminars and seeking other educational materials
? Promote KFC through involvement in community activities and organizations
? Establish and/or maintain mortgage banker/broker database
? Travel to local, regional and headquarter locations as necessary.
Qualifications / Requirements:
? OUTSIDE sales experience as a Conventional Alt-A Wholesale Account Executive preferred
? Proven track record in production, along with strong relationship building skills
? Must be highly motivated and have positive attitude
? Must have a strong, independent work ethic and a competitive spirit
? Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to both Brokers and inside staff.
? Must be confident and knowledgeable in expressing mortgage loan guidelines and local real estate lending laws
? Strong sense of urgency and time management skills
? Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
? Demonstrable sales skills and a knowledge of your craft
? Excellent organization/planning, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
? Professional appearance
? Solid PC skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office, various lender software, a PDA, PC, and/or a laptop.
? Provide Regional Sales Manager with timely reports and related sales information.
? Account Executives also share the responsibility to minimize lending risks, and practice risk performance methods to improve the overall operation of an assigned territory and increase cost effectiveness while achieving sales volume goals and territory objectives.
