Transaction Manager ? Lead the team; be a hero!

 

  Do you have a passion for real estate transactions?  Do you insist on getting your arms around the entire process to help tenants get the best value?  Do you have the initiative, skill and drive to orchestrate complex projects through twists, turns and bumps in the road?

 

  CTRR is continuing to expand its tenant brokerage and consulting services to help companies reduce occupancy costs and protect their long-term interests.  Because of highly satisfied clients who value our hands-on, proactive approach to leasing services, and the results we deliver, we expect to double our revenue within the next 15 months.  We are adding staff and raising the bar on how we deliver leasing services.

 

  As a transaction manager with CTRR, you will take a leadership role in site searches, negotiating financial and operational terms of long-term leases, lease negotiations, managing architects and general contractors, and communicating with clients to help them solve their real estate needs and complete complex transactions that are critical to their business.  You?ll lead the team; you?ll be a hero.

 

Job duties will include:

 

  Conducting site searches in various markets

  Advising financial analysts on correct terms to be included in financial analyses

  Using financial analyses to compare locations under consideration

  Making presentations to inform clients about the status of transactions or consulting assignments and to assist clients in deciding on a course of action

  Negotiating transaction-related documents including leases, lease amendments, architectural service agreements, agreements with general contractors, buy-out agreements, sublease agreements, and other transaction-related documents

 

Experience required

 

  Five to seven years in a corporate real estate department or in a corporate legal department handling business aspects of real estate transactions

  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  Ability to manage and motivate others

  Strong skills with Word, WordPerfect, Lotus, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Project and internet research

 

Educational background and professional qualifications preferred

 

  Bachelor?s degree and Juris Doctorate

 

  Real estate salesperson?s license for New York and Connecticut (or an agreement to obtain these licenses within six months)
