Assay Chemist

On Assignment Lab Support has current opportunities for Assay Chemists in the Lafayette area:

Education
? B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biological Sciences,

Previous Experience
? Industrial experience highly desirable with assay development preferred.

Responsibilities
? Write protocols, execute experiments, process and analyze data, record and communicate results.
? May be called to present results of experimental work in front of a group.
? Comply to all regulatory requirements
? Report results of experiments
? Order supplies, maintain laboratory equipment and lab cleanliness.

Requirements
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with MS Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint is desirable.
? Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
? Experience in working in a regulated environment such as that controlled by ISO 9000 Quality System Requirements and GLP preferred.
? Familiarity with statistical concepts such as mean, SD, CV, ANOVA, and other multivariate statistical methods is preferred.
? Comfortable handling biological fluids and preparing complex aqueous solutions
