DATA ANALYSIS, TEAM LEAD

Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia has the largest and oldest database in the United States for the treatment of prostate cancer.  We are seeking an individual to lead the Data Analysis team as we continue the fight against cancer.

 

Responsibilities include: Conduct data analysis using basic to advanced skills in statistics and database query methods.Provide statistical analyses, tabulations, reports, presentation graphics, and listings of clinical research data using statistical, database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software.Serve as a technical resource to team members and physicians as it relates to statistical analysis and methodologies.Communicates directly with medical staff and inside/outside research team members on issues related to the study design and end results of all analysis, to ensure accuracy and clarity of analysis, and ensure appropriate statistical methods are used.Assists in coordination of all analysis tasks and results related to specific analysis projects for inclusion into peer reviewed publications and presentations.Assists in the development of documentation for medical research, patient management, and patient confidentiality as it relates to data analysis processesSupervise daily operation of department analysts including assignment of projects, performance management and other personnel related issuesEngage in medical/marketing research as directed

 

 Qualifications:Minimum BS or MS degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related field.3-7 years experience in statistical data analysis using SAS softwareSAS software skills must include use of Base, Reports, Graph, and Stat modules, with strong skills developing with Proc SQL and SAS Macro language.Strong desktop computer skills (including Access, Excel for preliminary data analysis) are required and must be demonstrated.Proficiency with SQL and ability to use relational databasesThorough technical knowledge of relevant statistical methodology is necessary.Excellent oral and written communication skills required.Ability to work independently and collaboratively required.
