LASER PROCESS SCIENTIST/ENGINEER

Gen3Solar is a new company that will provide clean, low cost renewable energy now and for our children?s future. We are located in Northern California and will manufacture thin film amorphous silicon solar panels at a breakthrough price, enabled by proprietary equipment and processes. We have a core management team with experience in energy business, thin film technology and amorphous silicon solar panels.

Gen3Solar needs a highly skilled ?can do? LASER PROCESS DEVELOPMENT SCIENTIST/ENGINEER to:

? Develop laser ablation processes for semiconductor and metal thin films.
? Evaluate and select lasers and processes for manufacturing.
? Test and develop process controls for development and production equipment.
? Establish high yield, low costs manufacturing processes.
? Closely interact with laser system designers and suppliers to optimize the equipment for gen3Solar?s needs.

The job requires:
? MS or PhD in materials physics, electrical engineering, materials science, or related field.
? 5 to 10 years experience in laser ablation of thin films and/or laser/material interactions for metal and semiconductor thin films.
