Gen 3 Solar is a new company that will provide clean, low cost renewable energy now and for our children?s future.  We will manufacture thin film amorphous Si solar panels at a breakthrough price, enabled by proprietary equipment and processes. We have a core management team with experience in the energy business, thin film technology and amorphous silicon solar panels.

 

Gen 3 Solar needs a highly skilled ?can do? PROCESS ENGINEER to focus on the mechanical assembly processes for amorphous Si panels. 

?  Optimize, improve and help select electronic interconnect bonding processes for solar panels.

?  Help select, test and execute in development and manufacturing mechanical assembly and packaging process for solar panels.

?  Set-up and test cleaning systems for solar panels.

?  Work with vacuum and polymer specialists to release processes to high volume low cost manufacturing line.

 

The job requires:

?  Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.

?  5 yrs experience in integrated mechanical assembly and chemical processing of electronic systems.

?  A demonstrated skill in working with specialist to bring proposed mechanical assembly, chemical processes and vacuum deposition ideas to reality
