Buffet Cashier

Job Summary:Collect Entry fee for Buffet, providing fast, friendly courteous service. Provides assistance and information to inquiring guests.

Essential Job Functions:Acknowledge, greet and converse in English when creating a great time, every time. Must be able to operate cash register to total guests? purchases and accurately balance cash drawer on a daily basis. Adhere to all departments and property policies and procedures. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the department.

Qualifications:Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Must present a professional and pleasant appearance that guests will find appealing and approachable in order to engage in conversation. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team. Must be able to work evenings. Must be able to work in any weather conditions.

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:Able to work independently and with little supervision. Must be able to maneuver throughout the property. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, stoop, and kneel when assisting customers with their merchandise needs. Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate the cash register. Must be able to handle more than one function at a time accurately be being well-organized and paying attention to details. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to tolerate loud music, smoke and large crowds.
