CHEF DE CUISINE

We are currently searching for a Chef de Cuisine to supervise and coordinate kitchen production in support of our two on-site, first-class restaurants. We are located in West Houston and will provide a state-of-the-art facility for you to lead a team of professional culinary and support staff in providing quality meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.



 

What will you do in this role? Schedule daily kitchen production and food prep for on-time service for meals. Monitor preparation and service accuracy for all menu items to include proper temperature, taste, consistency, diet restrictions and portion control. Ensure proper presentation of all food items and to provide maximum appeal and freshness. Supervise, schedule, evaluate, train, and coach all culinary staff and support staff. Supervise organization and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchen, storage areas and loading dock.Be a hands-on, actively participant in preparation of meals ? providing coaching, mentoring, guidance to the staff as well as providing and creating a wonderful working environment.



 

What are we looking for? A minimum of five years high volume cooking experience. Excellent, consistent and proven supervisory and management skills a must. A High School Diploma or GED required. College or culinary training preferred. A Certificate in food service sanitation (Serv-safe) preferred. Exceptional customer service skills, a high level of professionalism and the ability to mulit-task.
