Catering General Manager

Feast is a small, creative business with a passion for fresh, innovative food, located at 5th & Sunset Studios Los Angeles.  We strive to create inspired menus for a wide range of production, corporate and social functions.  We pride ourselves on an attention to detail that ensures our clients? experience goes beyond our high quality food.

We are seeking an experienced General Manager who is passionate about food and wine to join our team.  Someone dedicated to driving high standards, and achieving excellence in our food and service. 

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations to serve our existing client base.  Daily responsibilities will include: 

? Execution of service, food, and ambiance

? Staff management, motivation and training

? Scheduling staff shifts and labor efficiency management

? Food production, quality, and standards management

? Positive Client interaction and service

? Event contract negotiations

? Cost control management including budgeting practices and principals

? Developing markets to generate new business

 

Job Requirements

? Two to three years catering and/or food and beverage management experience.

? A thorough understanding of the catering industry.

? Experience in a fast-paced, busy environment with ever-changing daily deadlines.

? Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.

? Exceptional interpersonal skills including written and verbal communications.

? An ability to motivate and develop staff, and manage a team.

? High service standards, a high energy level and an entrepreneurial spirit.
