Cocktail Server - Onyx Lounge

The Westin St. Francis Hotel is seeking someone who:

 

The server takes orders and serves food and beverage items to our customers in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner.  He/She ensures station and table set ups are complete prior to service and at the end of the shift.  The Server communicates and works closely with kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

 

60%    Take orders for and serve all beverage requests, using suggestive selling techniques.  Clear tables during service.  Control guest checks and secure proper payment.

 

  20%    Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor.

 

20%  Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area through disposing of all waste, clearing and cleaning all glassware, and wiping down bar and preparation areas. 

 

Education

High school or equivalent education required.

 

Experience

One year of high volume beverage service required.  Customer service experience preferred.

 

Licenses or Certificates

Must be minimum age to serve alcohol.

 

Grooming

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Starwood standards.
