Construction Manager

The Manager, Construction is responsible for coordinating and managing the new construction and remodels of company and franchisee leased Burger King restaurants. This is accomplished by ensuring that the restaurants are built per plans and specs, in a timely manner and within a pre-determined budget.

Key activities include:
-Collaborating with the Development Manager on site evaluation reports prior to site approval and on scope of work reports prior to a remodel
-Managing outside consultants
-Driving the permitting process for a remodel or new company restaurant
-Competitively bidding the projects with pre-approved general contractors
-Inspecting construction sites to monitor progress
-Processing and monitoring all financial paperwork
-Working with Asset Management in coordinating successor remodels for restaurants leased by franchisees from Burger King Corporation

Qualifications
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, architecture or engineering, preferably in a corporate environment
-Financial and business acumen
-Superior interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
-A bachelor's degree in a related field
-Registration as an architect, engineer or general contractor is preferred
