Deli Manager

Seeking a DELI SUPERVISOR to direct daily food production and packaging of sandwiches, etc. at our FT WORTH area facility.

 

This hands-on position will plan, direct, and coordinate the preparation of fresh foods for use in retail sales.  Preparation of cost-controlled, quality products is required.  Responsibilities include: inventory control, purchasing, receiving, safety, food handling and facility/equipment sanitation. You will also be responsible for hiring, scheduling, training hourly staff, and monitoring production amounts and spoilage.


An ideal candidate will have 3-5 years industry experience as well as the ability to manage production and packaging of quality products.  Previous food service experience in a fast-paced deli or food service operation preferred.  Knowledge in basic bookkeeping, staffing & scheduling, sanitation and safety is required.  Understanding of computers, Microsoft Excel and packaging equipment helpful.
