Our client has a rich history spanning more than 30 years as a Twin Cities landmark eatery.? This privately held and wildly successful restaurant and bar has a rare management opening due to anticipated expansion.? A warm and inviting interior with a charm and ambiance few can match greets you upon your arrival and the long tenured wait staff makes your job so much easier than most places with their intimate knowledge of the menu and of the guests.? The guests...lots and lots of regulars, some every night for a beer, some once a week for dinner, some every holiday, others every birthday.? The place has a 'feel' to it that few can match.

What do you need to be successful here?? Appreciate quality food and drink.? Know it, don't be apprehensive about quality.? Indulge the guests with table visits because you want to, not because its 'policy'. Get to know them.? Be involved in the operation.? Feel competent and comfortable jumping behind the huge wooden?bar during happy hour and helping out when the bartender(s) is 'buried'.? Be able to jump into the kitchen when they are?'in the weeds'.??Pour waters when a server gets 'slammed'.?At this joint, management is a verb, not a noun.

A few years in a full service restaurant as a manager is a must.? Independent thinkers strongly encouraged to apply.? This is not a chain.? Be able to contain costs (labor, F&B), schedule employees, smartly order food, beverage and supplies, and be ready to hear when asked where you work 'Wow, I've been there, I love that place'
