JOB SUMMARY: Provides excellent service to guests when seating them in the restaurant according to designated rotation plans.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Greets customers and seats them in the restaurant on a rotating basis. Handles and solves any concerns and questions from customers. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS: One year previous experience as a hostess/host preferred. Must be 21 years of age required. Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner. Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance.



PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to work inside a restaurant and continuously maneuver in and around tables when leading customers to be seated. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast pace environment. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English clearly.
