We are currently seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance ( Beverage & Coffee Excellence) to join our Creative and Innovation Team Quality Assurance Team.

The Manager of Quality Assuarance (Beverage & Coffee Execellence) will develop, implement and establish effective quality management systems with respect to all Beverages and related packaging for Dunkin? Brands. Create and maintain communication, collaboration and relations with all key internal and external stakeholders necessary to deliver the business & quality objectives.

Manage Supplier/Distributors appropriately to the level of risk inherent within the item supplied, through application of effective quality management systems, ongoing monitoring of quality performance and risk mitigation. Identify and lead corrective action and continuous improvement opportunities. Lead Resolution of product defects, complaints and incidents with suppliers and effected stakeholders. Build and maintain good business relationships with Suppliers, Distributors and Franchisees.

Communicate and report relevant Quality information on an ongoing basis to internal and external stakeholders including; providing specific quality performance results on a periodic basis; internal and external training; representing the Company to Franchisees, Media and industry related bodies and organizations.

Approve potential Suppliers and maintain an ongoing approved Supplier list by measuring product and supplier conformance to specifications and Quality Management systems, through the utilization of independent quality systems auditors, internal testing and external certified laboratories, and customer feedback through complaint and contact logging and tracking database systems.

Maintain sufficient resources, trained competent personal and laboratory facilities to allow the quality and coffee excellence teams to perform at the highest level and deliver on all team responsiblities. Ensure the equitable and appropriate allocation of people and resource against the key quality and business objectives.

Maintain Quality related documentation and process review and approval, including but not limited too: specifications, product/process critical acceptance criteria, defined finished product attributes, customer critical acceptance criteria, approved established test methods for acceptance, and final validation of commercialization of product.

Provide functional technical expertise to all relevant product development and commercialization projects, product development and design, field operational procedures, quality standards and product specifications.


Requirements:

The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Minimum Education of Bachelors degree; Food or quality related. Direct experience with coffee manufacturing and analysis. Five (5) or more years experience in quality assurance or related food industry experience in managing Suppliers, Quality Assurance Programs, and/or Manufacturing Systems. Experience in beverages and or coffee industries. Experience in project management, supplier auditing and product risk evaluation. Experience in management of vendor/supplier relationships. Experience in developing and implementing Quality Management and Food safety Systems. Proven history of successful team leadership, with experience of supervising one or more direct reports. Thorough knowledge of Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points, (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices, (GMP?s), ISO Standards, Food and Drug Administration, (FDA) Model Food Code, Code of Federal Regulations, (CFR), Statistical Process Control and general microbiology.
