Old Meeting House Homemade Ice Cream, a?Tampa (FL) tradition since 1947,?is seeking manager's to work in its?flagship store (partnering) in South Tampa. This?store features our all-natural, hand-crafted ice creams, along with gourmet coffees, teas and pies. This job assists, supervises and supports?a team oriented spirit which fosters?and maintains exceptional customer service and?branding opportunities.? The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Old Meeting House?work ethics?and standards.

Summary of key responsibilities Coffee /Tea?(cupping) knowledge/?experience, barista/?strongly desired.?Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations.? Filters communication to the shift team as directed by the store manager.Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in crew morale and performance and communicating as the store manager.Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Old Meeting House.? Maintains and models a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events; continues to keep store operating to exemplary standard and sets a positive example for the shift team. Develops positive relationship with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.Engages in conversation with customers to understand customer needs and the needs of the community in which the store is located Models a customer come first attitude, delivers legendary customer service, and supervises teams to ensure they are delivering legendary customer service.Responds immediately to store needs (errands, banking, shift changes, shift gaps, inventory, ordering, scheduling, opening & or closing of store, training of new employees/partners, assisting with off-site promotional events, end of day balancing of register, monitoring of budget and controlling of food costs and supplies. On going review of store environment and key business indicator to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching and direction to the shift team in achieving operational goals.? Assists in areas of improvement. Implementing company programs by working directly with shift team to execute action plans and meet operational and organization objectives.Utilizes and provides direction to crew during their shift on the use of operational tools to achieve operational excellence. Acts as a coach and mentor to team by using discretion in assessing performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve team/crew performance, and effectively recommending employment decisions to store manager.
