CATERING COORDINATOR

As the go-to person for our Via Panera in-cafe catering operation, the Via Panera Coordinator balances and multi-tasks, taking on the roles of resource orchestrator, menu expert, customer consultant, constant learner, administrator, and hands-on bakery/cafe team member.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

? Generate new catering business by using creativity and collaboration to support and grow the Panera Bread catering concept-Via Panera
? Manage and grow the existing Via Panera customer base through follow-up calls and excellent customer satisfaction
? Build sales through excellent account management, establishing strong relationships, and by being an enthusiastic advocate of Via Panera.
? Develop a thorough understanding of the Via Panera concept including understanding the menu, suggestive selling and ability to meet the customers? needs through the Via Panera concept
? Radiate contagious enthusiasm for Panera food and Panera Warmth through a variety of forums
? Act as the liaison between the customer, bakery-caf? Via Panera Coordinator, General Manager, corporate marketing and District Manager to ensure a seamless and successful experience for the customer
? Coach the bakery-caf? staff to develop their confidence and competence around the Via Panera concept
? Responsible for the complete sales cycle: Prospecting, qualifying opportunities, developing relationships and a pipeline of solid business opportunities, presenting the product offering and proposals, coordinating the sales process both in and out of the bakery-caf?, closing and follow-up of the sale.
? Assume overall responsibility for the ongoing development of the customer database
? Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the operational production process in order to protect bakery-caf? business while building catering sales.

QUALIFICATIONS

? Prior sales experience required, ideally in catering or services related field.
? Excellent Customer Service skills
? Outstanding written, presentation and telephone communication skills
? High degree of professionalism, proven ability to maintain professional demeanor under pressure
? Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
? Enthusiasm and passion for the Panera brand
