The Purchasing Manager is responsible for:

 Categories including smallware and tableware, uniforms, chemical/pest and EcoSure compliance, paper goods and grocery line itemsNegotiating high volume cost effective programs that bring value, cost reduction, improved service and increased quality to the companyMenu development to include researching new vendors and menu products, providing cost for new items and executing Can, Dry, Frozen and Disposable contracts to the primary distributorTracking purchases and developing rebate programs in Can, Dry, Frozen and Beverage categories and maintaining on a quarterly basisEnsuring distributors meet cafe delivery schedule and service requirementsExecuting cost effective equipment programs to include quality standards and timely deliveryPreparing RFP?s and financial cost impactsCreating and managing PO?s for warehouse inventory

 

Successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of food and beverage purchasing experience.

 

This individual must have advanced Microsoft office skills, be able to multi-task with excellent written and oral communication skills and a desire to learn about the business from other department perspectives.
