Recruiter

Position Summary

 

The Field Recruiter is responsible for the overall coordination of the selection and hiring process for Restaurant Management and support positions for a designated area.  Supports Human Resources and Operations with candidate sourcing, recruiting, hiring, retention and other employment practices.

 

Main Accountabilities

 

In addition to following Papa Gino?s/D?Angelo policies and procedures, main accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Recruits management candidates for current and future restaurant openings

 

Develops and manages a proactive recruiting plan for assigned area

 

Coordinates recruitment events such as job fairs, open houses, community events, etc.

 

Completes reference checks on all applicants

 

Screens and interviews candidates

 

Identifies new, effective recruiting sources and strategies

 

Coordinates and schedules interview with HR and Operations team

 

Places recruitment ads and job postings using the internet, print ads and other sources

 

Works with HR and Operations to identify staffing needs

 

Prepares regular reports on recruiting activities

 

Assists in processing confirmation letters and all candidate written correspondence

 

Assists HR and Operations in implementing in-restaurant recruiting programs

 

Manages recruitment budget as required

 

Promotes positive community relations and develops/maintains contacts to promote Papa Gino?s/D?Angelo employment image

 

Supports restaurants and management in team recruitment

 

Prepares and sends appropriate marketing materials to candidates

 

Ensures compliance to EEO regulations and applicable employment law

 

Depending on the needs of the business and/or department may complete other duties as assigned to advance a particular project or resolve a business issue

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor?s degree preferred

 

Relevant work experience with a focus in recruitment/staffing, restaurant or retail

 

Problem solver, out of the box thinker and creativity a must

 

Social, professional who thrives on achieving results and attracting the future leaders of our company

 

Knowledge/Skills

 

Proficient in Excel and Word, surfing the internet, website utilization and Outlook or a comparable emailing program

 

PowerPoint and website development a plus

 

Work Experience

 

Previous work experience in staffing or recruiting position required

 

Previous experience working in restaurant or retail environment
