Regional Franchise Manager
SUMMARY Directs and coordinates activities of Franchise operations to include support and assistance to the franchise community. Insure that franchises are in compliance with HOA policies, practices and procedures by the utilization of in store audits, frequent feedback, and visits. Direct, coordinate and consult franchise?s individual business models and plans. Insure the growth of revenues for the franchisee and HOA through positive growth of customer counts, sales, and royalties. Auditing monthly profit and loss statements to insure accurate royalty reporting, and positive growth for the individual franchisee. Develop positive relationships between Hooters of America inc. and individual franchisees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sales:
Plans and Consults daily plans for the region in accordance with best practices of the industry with respect to maximizing profits, sales, and maintenance of guest and employee relations.
Reviews operational records and reports to project sales.
Recognizes marketing and promotional opportunities in the community. Consults on promotional activities of store managers and regional marketing personnel. Consults on proper execution of local promotions.
Consults on profit maximization of each restaurant without jeopardizing employee morale, customer satisfaction, personnel safety, unit appearance, or long term sales.
Reviews the accuracy of all profit and loss statements. Monitors food, beer, wine, and inventory costs, budgets, merchandise inventory.
Market Growth:
Uses available tools, including those provided by Corporate Development Department, as well as local market surveys, to analyze market potential of new and existing store locations, and recommends additional sites or deletion of existing area stores.
Consults, assists and insures proper development schedules for individual markets and franchisees.
Participates in New Store Opening Programs, to include regular participation by middle management in Opening processes.
Guest/ Conceptual Integrity:
Monitors guest satisfaction at each unit level to ensure repeat business. Monitors conceptual integrity within locations to ensure guests are receiving a true Hooters Experience.
Reviews analyses of activities, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Confers with Vice President of Operations and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
Coordinates all activities leading up to and the support thereafter for openings of new stores to insure a successful opening with the full support from the franchisor.
Consults and assists all franchisees in all phases of operations relating to the Hooters concept, including purchasing guidelines, specs, and marketing.
Serves as Liaison between Hooters of America, Inc. and the franchise community to ensure that current policies and procedures a communicated.
Develops, organizes and arranges franchise meetings to advise and provide direction to the franchisees.
Serves as member of management committees on special studies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Four year college or university degree in business, marketing or related discipline and six years of experience of which five years must be in a multi-unit supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Or; 10 years related operational experience and/or training of which five years must be in multi-unit supervision with a proven track record of superior operations and profits.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in the English language and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to speak in public. Serve as an example of being a team player. Must be customer service oriented. Must portray a professional image. Must be able to travel at least 75% of the time.
