Restaurant / Foodservice Manager

Ovations Food Services, LP, one of the nation's fastest growing foodservice providers for the sports & entertainment industry, is seeking a Restaurant / Foodservice Manager for its turf facility at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.  This is a "working manager" position who will oversee Turf Club restaurant operations and other foodservice locations (bars, snack locations) within the facility, as well as helping to perform day-to-day tasks. 

 

Successful candidate must have minimum of 1-3 yrs restaurant management experience including inventory, staff scheduling, event coordination, alcohol service.  Must be proficient in utilizing POS systems, computer literate (basic MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Email).  Positive employee & guest relations skills heavily weighted!  Must have exceptional people skills: friendly, personable, courteous, outgoing; understand and be able in positively interact with clientele at horse race track.  Basic familiarity with watch-and-wager operations.

 

This salaried-exempt position will work primarily day shifts (9:00am - 5:00pm approximately), but must be available to work a flexible, event-driven schedule as needed.
