Restaurant Managers
General Manager, Associate Managers and Assistant Managers
The Restaurant Management Team is responsible for leading the restaurant activities of the Travel Plaza. The Management Team will report directly to the District Manager and will consist of 1 General Manager, 1 Associate and 2 Assistant Managers and their teams. The Management Team will work closely with applicable support functions as required by the DM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors and exemplifies guest service to ensure Flying J excellence in service is met, as guest service is our number-one priority. Recruit, hire, and train restaurant employees. Prepare employee work schedules. Prepare an operating budget and control expenses in order to stay within that budget. Maintain a positive relationship with other members of the Flying J Travel Plaza management team, corporate headquarters, and the community.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Experience in Family, Casual or Buffet Dining segment. Proven ability to build & lead successful teams. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and with employees. Ability to be a role model in employee appearance and presentation. Minimum 3 years in supervision/management. (Position based on experience). High School required.
