Upscale restaurant seeks Front of House Manager
Set on the banks of the Colorado River, The River Grill Restaurant at Sorrel River Ranch offers the best views and most delicious food in the area. Our AAA four-diamond resort hosts a discerning clientele, with emphasis on personal and attentive service. We are looking for a strong, hands-on leader to help with staffing, service, management, etc.
Applicants should have 2+ years management experience and at least 6 years total restaurant experience. Must be very hands on & detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have experience in a 4 or 5 diamond restaurant and will be familiar with that level of service. Compensation includes housing on our beautiful ranch!
Ideal candidate is:
Hands-on
Knowledge of fine dining
Computer Savvy
Knowledge of Micros a plus
Job duties will include waiting on tables; liasing with guests; maintining the highest level in service standards; training new employees and ongoing training of existing employees; overseeing the smooth operation of the restaurant; creating, typing, formatting, and printing menus; programming Micros; interacting with front desk & kitchen staff; developing and improving policies and procedures; overseeing all banquets, functions, & catered events; etc.
