The Sports Zone is located within the 311-room, full service, Holiday Inn Select in Columbia, MO.  Take a look at the links below.  The Sports Zone has a 16' by 9' high definition screen with 24 other plasma tvs so there is not a bad seat in the house.  Open for lunch and dinner.  The Sports Zone General Manager manages the daily operations of a restaurant for the food and bar areas.  The GM is responsible for the profitable operation of the restaurant.  Also responsible for hiring, training, disciplining, and firing of employees of the restaurant.  Ensures quality food and service.Primarily an afternoon and evening position.  The GM is expected to be present when the restaurant is busy.  Must have a passion for providing great customer service, previous restaurant experience and bar experience.  If you are a manager that likes to be involved then take a look at the links below.

Must have at least two years restaurant management experience in a free standing restaurant as the GM or AGM.  Four years industry experienced desired.   Must be familiar with all aspects of managing a restaurant to include, but not limited to, personnel management, food and beverage controls, quality control, food safety, and delivering great customer service.  Must have that passion for providing great customer service and relay that passion to their staff.  Preference given to local candidates within 100 miles of Columbia, MO but all candidates reviewed.
