Retail Catering Manager - New Orleans, LA

 Supervise total retail and catering operations to include such duties as booking, selecting and costing menu items, pricing, arranging for temporary help and equipment rental.
Manages all catering employees and assists with the hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases.
Responsible for the production, set up of front of the house catering functions, preparation and service of food and refreshments, as well as clean-up.
Assist the Food Production Manager or Catering Director with retail production and overall back of the house standards.
Responsible for the preparation of meals for upscale requests, executive’s requests, board functions, etc, using their culinary expertise. 
Ensures that appropriate sanitation and safety standards are always met.

Ideal candidates will possess:  
Bachelors or Culinary degree.
Minimum 1-2 years industry & management experience, preferably within the catering field.
Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills are essential. 
Providing a high level of customer service is critical to the success in this role.
Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications required.
P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
