Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center, located in the Boulder County community of Lafayette opened in the fall of 2004 with 144-beds and the potential to expand as the community grows. This new facility, with spacious private rooms and state-of-the-art equipment, will reflect our focus on healing. It offers breathtaking views, walking trails and natural building materials, as well as a central garden, soothing waterways and colorful flowers. Your Position

As a Room Service Attendant, you could be assigned to work one of 3 positions: Diet Office, Tray Passer/Dishwasher, and Expo (patient meal assembly). Must exhibit professional appearance and demeanor in the performance of job duties. Must be able to follow complex written and verbal instructions accurately. Must be able to perform mathematics calculations necessary to determine nutritional values of patient diets, tube feeding formularies, and calorie counts. Our Requirements

* Hospital diet office, long-term care diet aide, or diet technician experience; healthcare food service or experience in the medical field preferred.
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Typing ability and computer experience required.
* Experience with medical terminology preferred.
