SALES (Foodservice)

FEDERATED GROUP, a premier private label business to business consumer goods sales and marketing firm providing retailers, wholesalers, foodservice distributors, and manufactures with brokerage, brand management, supply chain consolidation, and design services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson to join our team.

 

Based in Arlington Heights, IL this individual will be responsible for implementing the strategies for increasing our market share in the foodservice channel.  This position is accountable for maximizing sales to and profitability of foodservice customers in the Midwest Region. 

 

The individual will grow existing accounts as well as well as develop new business opportunities within institutional establishments and other foodservice accounts in the Midwest region.  Will work in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales and headquarters in strategic planning to maximize profits and to sell and execute promotions.

 

A successful candidate will be someone with: professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation, initiative, independence and strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to deliver results; able to effectively manage internal cross-functional relationships; strong listening, and communication skills.

 

Requirements include a minimum of two years? sales experience, in sales, retail, or marketing in the consumer goods industry.  A demonstrated understanding of the foodservice business a plus.
