Sous Chef

As a Sous Chef at the L.J.V.M. Annex you will oversee all back-of-house operations and be responsible for food production and overall supervision of kitchen activity. You will interact with customers and clients on a daily basis as well as have responsibility for staffing, scheduling, training and developing hourly staff.


Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's or related culinary degree with 2+ years of industry & management experience. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role. Previous experience with food production, purchasing processes and daily foodservice operations is required. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.  Previous high volume experience is highly sought.  Must be able to work a flexible event driven schedule.
