Store Manager - Restaurant In Airport

HMSHost Corporation at the San Jose International Airport is currently seeking a Store Manager I.

 

The Store Manager focuses on store level operational and personnel performance and is responsible and accountable for business results in support of Operational and Customer Service Excellence.  This position is responsible for the coaching and professional development of store management and associates, and will be the central driving force for providing an exemplary experience for all customers, all he time.  The Store Manager is accomplished at being both a ?front of the house? and ?back of the house? manager, and should have a thorough knowledge of product, service and quality standards.

 

The person who is hired for this position will have a well-established track record of providing excellent customer service, demonstrating effectiveness in multi-project/task environment, and team management skills (issue resolution, feedback, delegation, mentoring/coaching, career planning, team-building).  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in managing a high-volume, fast paced food and beverage environment.  A college degree in hospitality or restaurant management is preferred, but not required.  Multi-unit and union experience is desired for this position.
