Zio's Has Opportunities For Restaurant Managers and Kitchen Managers in Houston, Humble, Webster!

Zio?s Italian Kitchen is a fast paced, high volume, casual dining restaurant concept serving authentic Italian cuisine in a comfortable, open-kitchen setting.  We have 15 locations in six states, all corporately owned.

 

We are currently seeking Restaurant Managers for our Houston, Humble and Webster locations and a Kitchen Manger for our Humble location.  This position will assist and report to the General Manager to ensure guest satisfaction and a quality work environment.  If you deliver a passion for service and a love for food, we will deliver an active, fun environment, where the employees work together.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Interested candidates must possess the following capabilities:

 Minimum of 2 years Restaurant Management/Kitchen Management experience.Prefer experience in a full service kitchen where recipes are perfected from scratch.Guest FocusedAbility to work independently, as well as, part of a team, with infrequent directionHigh School diploma (or equivalent) required, college degree preferred. Foodservice Management Professional certification a plus.

 

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Organizing:

? Assists in maintaining established employee staffing levels

? Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties

 

Controlling:

? Maintains a high food quality, facility and service standard

? Ensures that proper management of the facility and equipment are adhered to through preventive maintenance, energy conservation, repairs and security measures

? Oversees order processing to ensure that all menu items are prepared, portioned and presented properly

? Communicates with guests, including answering complaints and inquiries, to insure complete guest service and counsels all concerned employees

? Ensures compliance of employees with established policies and procedures 

? Assists in taking inventory and ordering merchandise to maintain sufficient supplies

? Meets operational goals of assigned areas

 

Decision Making:

? Performs any necessary employee terminations, vacation requests, schedule requests, and salary and position level changes

 

Leadership:

? Performs employee semi-annual reviews

? Assists in supervising, training, and evaluating staff to facilitate the attainment of company operational goals

? Maintains open management and employee communication

? Maintains excellent guest relations and guest complaint handling

? Performs/assists all functions of subordinate positions as required

? Projects a professional leadership image

? Performs all additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned and as outlined for each management area of responsibility (i.e. Beverage, Sales, Catering)
