A growing & successful restaurant chain is looking to fill an immediate opening for a talented professional. We are currently looking for a Zone Training Coordinator for the El Paso, TX market. 

 

Candidate will enable the company?s Mission & Vision by promoting and supporting a learning culture and implement the company?s learning strategy.  Position coaches members of Operations at all levels, providing guidance and expertise on training and development issues; understands and communicates the Brand relationship between the marketing-generated expectations of our customers and Operations execution; & manages company training program execution at the Zone level. 

 

Duties include:

 

?  Conducts on-site visits with Managers-in-Training (MIT?s) as outlined in the MIT Program to evaluate progress through the development process.  Addresses questions and concerns and validates skills.

?  Makes recommendations to Regional Training Manager, Directors of Operations, Area Managers and Human Resources when unsatisfactory progress is found.

?  Conducts MIT classes for operations training programs and coordinates the instruction of classes by others.

?  Coaches Certified Training General Managers.

?  Instructs and promotes the proper use of operations training programs in the Restaurants, including the Orientation for MIT?s, Team Leaders and Team Members Programs, and Team Leaders and MIT classroom training.

?  Works with the Division Director of Field Training to measure the effectiveness of Training Stores and Training Store General Managers, and reports outcomes to various stakeholders.  Utilizes post-training surveys and assessments of MIT?s.

?  Administers and makes recommendations for changes to the Training Store General Manager compensation plan.

?  Conducts and completes Training, Quality and Safety Audits, as directed.  Reports results to the Regional Training Manager, Area Manager and Director of Operations.  Makes recommendations for follow-up and performance improvement.

?  Executes planned rollouts to operations, including new products/Limited Time Offers (LTO?s), new processes and new technology to support company programs and initiatives.  Supports the company?s marketing calendar, including Brand Calendar Training Sessions, Monthly Quality Audits and Monthly and Quarterly Regional goals.

?  Monitors and makes recommendations regarding the ratio of Training Stores to MIT?s within a market.

?  Oversees Training Audits and follow-ups on outcomes and discrepancies.

?  Provides testing, surveys, evaluations and feedback on rollouts and new processes.

?  Provides feedback and analysis on rollouts, new products/LTO?s, new processes and new technology to various stakeholders, including Restaurant Operating Systems and the Project Management Office.

?  Provides development, coaching and mentoring for various members of Operations, particularly Training Store General Managers, General Managers and Area Managers.

 

Ideal candidates will have:

?  Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration, Education or Behavioral Science preferred.

?  Previous restaurant experience, preferably in the quick service / quick casual / or full service restaurant industry preferred.

?  Must have previous experience as a General Manager. 

?  Previous experience in Training and Development preferred.

?  Ability to achieve ServSafe Instructor Certification required.

 

Salary:

Up to $40K base depending on experience.
