ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER - ROCKVILLE

This is a great opportunity to join REI's retail management team in our Rockville store!

As an Assistant Store Manager (ASM), you would be a critical member of the leadership team, as you work closely with your supervisor to lead your team to achieve sales and service goals for one or more specialty shops within your store. You will frequently be on the sales floor to train, motivate, lead and coach your supervisor and Sales Specialists as they provide stellar service and sell to our customers.

We would love to see your online resume if you have 3-5 years of retail management experience with in-depth knowledge of retail practices and procedures including supervising, hiring, training, merchandising, budgeting and a total commitment to quality service. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training or experience in a business-related field is required. An ASM schedule will vary based on business needs, and will include some nights and weekends, but will rarely exceed 40-hours per week.
