For over 50 years, Shemin has been the leading Landscape Supply Company providing  professional landscapers with nursery stock, hardscapes, landscape lighting and irrigation.


We currently have an opening for an experienced nursery/landscape Account Executive.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for managing a group of key accounts and growing business within the group.

Duties:

Proactively servicing and selling to key accounts by identifying customer needs, profiling accounts and processing bids and quotes. In addition you will execute and complete sales orders and coordinate logistics of delivery and acceptance of customer orders.

The successful candidate will have an assertive, self disciplined, seller personality who enjoys sales work and the challenge of producing a substantial earned commission income in addition to a base salary. Must be comfortable making cold calls, working extensively on the telephone, and acting without close supervision.

Requires:

Superior customer service skills, a "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work flexible hours, as the season requires

Excellent multitasking skills, and interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills

High level of detail orientation, mathematical aptitude and proficiency with e-mail and Microsoft Office applications

Experience in the horticultural industry in a retail / wholesale environment
