Account Sales Manager - Small Format

We currently have an immediate opening for an Account Sales Manager in our New Orleans, Louisiana location. The Account Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales volume and margin targets within an assigned territory, ensuring that all assigned stores are properly merchandised to agreed upon standards, conducting weekly audits for the assigned account base and monitoring the quality of overall services provided by merchandisers to existing accounts. This incumbent will also be responsible for effectively representing PepsiAmericas to the customer base, helping customers understand the full range of available products and services and handling all customer complaints in a timely and responsive manner. Additionally, the Account Sales Manager will provide early identification of changing customer and market area requirements identifying trends, threats, and opportunities to core business areas and potential barriers to entry into new business areas and will ensure that all account related paperwork is properly recorded and maintained.

For successful performance in this position, the incumbent will possess a High School Diploma/GED. An advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of three years sales experience is required. Prior experience in merchandising, customer service, direct store delivery and beverage industry experience is preferred.A demonstrated ability to deal effectively in interpersonal relationships with customers, peers, and subordinates, time management skills and computer literacy is required. The ability to work all hours necessary to complete the job is a must.
