Allocation Analyst

Tuesday Morning is a rapidly growing retailer with over 700 stores across the United States specializing in selling deeply discounted, upscale home accessories, gifts and apparel.



Due to our tremendous growth, we are adding an Allocation Analyst to our Merchandise Planning and Allocation Team. This position will be working in our Corporate Office located in Dallas, Texas reporting to the Manager of Allocation.



Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.



Position Responsibilities:

?Allocate incoming merchandise to each store according to unique attributes and open-to-ship.

?Partner with Buyers on allocation strategies to address special issues or opportunities.

?Work closely with warehouse personnel to maximize flow to stores, ensureing advertised product arrives in store on a timely basis

?Review sales and inventory performance by store against plan and recommend actions where appropriate.



Position Requirements

?Minimum of 1 year current experience working with allocation systems.

?Strong oral and written communication skills.

?Highly proficient in creating/maintaining Excel Spreadsheets, working with Windows and Office 2000 applications.

?Strong analytical / creative problem solving skills.

?Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment working with all levels of management.
