Job Description: The Store Planner is responsible for the development and maintenance of store department and class plans by store season and month as well as maintaining merchandise assortments to maximize the profitability by store.

Responsibilites include, but are not limited to the following:
Position Responsibilities:

Plays an active role in systems training to other members of the store planning and allocation team.

Creates and regulates all new store opening functions, including development of unit plans, approval of new store assortment plans and analysis.

Manages, relocation and expansion store functions, including inventory management, analysis and ad-hoc reporting.

Works closely with the store operations team to ensure new store set up is complete and on the timeline.

Creates and maintains topline store planning reports.

Supports the entire store planning and allocation team with regards to reporting, systems and development of processes.

Manages system updates to meet business needs.

Work with field partners to determine new store profiles to ensure proper attributing strategies are implemented for new stores.

Analyze sales trends on quarterly, seasonal and annual basis by attribute levels to ensure that stores are coded properly

Analyze volume breaks by store grouping to and recommend changes to volume groups breaks


Position Requirements:

Must possess high level of analytical skills

Must be very proficient in excel, a power user, including detailed knowledge of macros, pivot tables, formula writing, spreadsheet creating, etc.

Must possess the ability to effectively partner and communicate with upper management

Must possess at least 1-2 years of store planning and allocation experience

Finance experience preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to quickly and effectively problem solve.

Must be able to work in a team environment

Very strong math skills

Ability to prioritize and multi task
