579 is a 1000 store chain based in Brooklyn, NY. We are currently undergoing expansion and are looking for an Assistant Buyer to manage the increased workload. We have entry level positions available for talented individuals with previous juniors, kids or accessories retail experience to join our successful team.

Buyer Clericals provide clerical support to the Buyer:

- need excellent computer/spreadsheet skills,

- superior phone, organization, filing and a detail orientation.

- Must have a good eye for fashion and understand our customers.

- Strong desire to be a buyer

- Willingness to get in at the ground level and grow with an organization

- General mathematical strength
