 Assistant Store Manager

As the Assistant Store Manager (Operations Manager), your primary focus will be the associates within the store. You?ll be responsible for completing the hiring process and ensuring all associates are trained and developed. You?ll also work with the management team to ensure the store is properly stocked and maintained. This position reports directly to the Store Manager.

 

Essential Job Functions:

? Ensuring the health and safety of the pets in our care

? Implement PetSmart hiring process

? Develop your team: Coaching, Training, Performance Reviews, etc.

? Process associate paperwork

? Responsible for all payroll related activities

? Ensure management team has proper tools to achieve expected results

? Ensure Positive Customer Experience

 

Minimum Requirements:

? Bachelor?s degree from four-year college or university

? Minimum of five years? related experience working in a retail environment

? Minimum of three years? management experience OR equivalent combination  of education and experience

? Comfortable operating various systems including:  Microsoft Office, Payroll and SAP

? Must love animals!
