We are currently searching for an ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER for the store we will be opening in Natick MA.

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
The Assistant Store Manager aids the Store Manager by managing and providing leadership for all operations & support processes and activities in the store in order to achieve store sales and profit objectives.

Responsibilities Include:

Hiring, Staffing and Human Resource Relations

Recruiting, Motivating and Training Qualified Associates

Overseeing replenishment, pricing & signing, stockroom, office, systems and maintenance

Ensuring a smooth functioning of support activities and a clean & safe store environment

Developing staffing plans, performance appraisals, pay raises and event execution plans

Basic Requirements:

Minimum of 6 yrs retail management experience

Softlines / Apparel / Big Box Experience preferred

Operations / Sales Support exposure preferred

Ability to communicate clearly with associates at all levels in a variety of situations

Ability to lead multiple projects and functional areas simultaneously

Excellent ability to organize, lead, problem solve and edit work of others

Superior skills in prioritizing, contingency planning, and follow through
