Assistant Store Manager requirements:
- Retail, grocery or convenience store experience preferred, but management experience is not required. However you must be able to undertake some management responsibilities. As the Assistant position is often a career stepping-stone to Store Management, if that is your desire, you should be motivated to attain these skills.The ability to recruit, hire and train store employees The ability to lead and motivate employees Customer service driven attitude Adherence to high ethical standards Skill in merchandising preferred Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance

 

Complete all paperwork and documentation according to guidelines and deadlines.

 

Lead Sales Associate (Key holder) requirements:

 

? Unload trucks according to the prescribed process for the store.

? Follow company work processes to receive open and unpack cartons and totes.

? Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.

? Assist customers by locating merchandise.

? Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom.

? Greet customers as they enter the store.

? Maintain register countertops and bags; implement register countertop plan-o-grams.

? Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total customer?s purchase; bag

? Provide superior customer service leadership.

? Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual, Employee Handbook, and company communications.

? Open and/or close the store under specific direction of the Area Manager.

Dollar General Management and Key Holder Lead Sales Associates are employees who:
- Train their store teams- Control expenses
- Order and stock merchandise to satisfy their customers needs
- Provide a clean, fun and safe environment for their employees and customers.
