BUSINESS SOLUTIONS SPECIALIST
OfficeMax Print and Document Services (PDS) is seeking customer focused individuals who are interested in putting their professional know-how to work with an industry forerunner. We are one of America's fastest growing companies, offering the latest in digital printing technologies and production services.
We currently are recruiting for: Business Solutions Specialist
The successful Business Solutions Specialist candidate will increase sales by bringing in new customers, identifying their needs, then providing the best solutions to those needs. The candidate must also have the ability to be productive while working independently. Prior successful experience in a sales role in the print-for-pay industry is a plus but not required.
Duties include: canvassing local businesses to establish new customer relationships, demonstrating exceptional customer service and proper behavior toward customers and may train associates in selling techniques. Business Solutions Specialist also works with our Corporate Account Managers as a contact within the store for large accounts. Additional responsibilities include: community networking (i.e., Chamber of Commerce), maintaining inside account portfolio and making contact with customers in the entire OfficeMax store while promoting PDS products and services.

Qualifications Must possess a high-school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Prior successful experience in sales or customer service and/or experience in printing or graphic arts industries. Have a valid driver's license and insurance and maintain an excellent driving record. Effectively interact with customers and be capable of handling customer inquiries and issues. Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, professionalism and the achievement of high levels of productivity to associates, peers and superiors. Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Contribute to the development of associates through training, communication, recognition and support. Knowledge of applications at the Desktop Publishing area and with all PDS equipment. Understands the merchandising of all PDS products and services. Able to lift, move or carry medium-weight objects (up to 50 pounds) and climb 8' to 10' ladders.
