BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

Responsible for identifying data sources within the enterprise and at third-party vendors, analyzing the BI needs of all departments within the enterprise, designing ETL processes OLAP cubes and reports. This position is responsible for the design, development and on-going support of reporting & analytical solutions for the business community. Responsible for the internal customer facing activities of defining business requirements, proposing development solutions, and validating that these solutions meet the needs of the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design standardized OLAP and transactional and multi-dimensional reports based on implemented information and knowledge management components, particularly data warehouse, data marts and operational data stores.
- Design and implement a standard reporting process for the company using an enterprise data driven reporting system that supports the business community.
- Conduct data warehousing requirements analysis for standardized report design.
- Responsible for contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of an integrated customer repository, as well as designing/developing data integration and/or data cleansing solutions for operational and analytical systems.
- Develop standards for best practices for reporting and market and educate the company on available reporting tools in the company.
- Creates reports and reporting capability as specified by user community.
- Troubleshoots report system performance and functionality problems.
- Extract data from multiple relational databases and other, non-relational, sources to create and distribute periodic executive/summary reports.
- Applies data warehouse corporate information security standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Assist business users with ad-hoc reporting tasks.
