Bead Company Assistant Manager & Sales Clerk Positions

Talisman Associates, a wholesale bead company in Rockville, MD, is looking for an Assistant Manager and a part-time Sales Clerk.

Applicant must have close attention to detail, basic mathematical skills, and good communication skills. Should also be upbeat and energetic.

 

Should be able to lift 50 lb boxes and spend a lot of time on your feet. Beading experience/interest is preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Chinese a plus!Very hands-on, this job will always keep you busy! 

 

Assistant Manager Duties Include:
-Applying to trade shows throughout the country and scheduling our Sales Reps to cover the shows
-Communicating with Sales Reps, preparing & shipping their restock
-Managing Website: including web advertising, web merchandising, web orders and shipping
-Communicating with customers via phone/email
-Assisting minimal walk-in customers
-Assisting Manager with any projects or problems that arise
-Basic office tasks as well (answering phone, etc.)

 

Sales Clerk Position Duties Include:

-Filling web orders

-Assisting minimal walk-in customers

-Answering phones

-Other tasks (such as product packaging) to be completed as necessary
