Bergner's Part-Time Loss Prevention Associate Position

Location: Sterling, IL

Status: Part-Time, 20 hours/week

 REPONSIBLITIES 

Actively investigate both internal and external theft through the use of CCTV and computer systems.

Promote Loss Prevention and Safety awareness through workshops, awareness meetings, or other forms of communication or activities.

Participate in educating newly hired associates on loss prevention and safety topics during the orientation process.

Assist in conducting thorough, high quality loss prevention audits with follow-up to the Loss Prevention Manager on results.

Promote associate involvement in reporting theft or dishonesty through the Integrity In Action program.

Ensure physical security and merchandise protection standards are enforced.

Assist in maintaining a well-balanced program with appropriate emphasis on prevention versus apprehension.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Must be at least 20 years of age. 
Must be able to work Wednesdays and weekends. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Well developed planning, time management, and organizational skills.

Exceptional analytical skills.

Ability to be work well both independently and in a team setting.

Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, respect, and fairness when dealing with associates and customers.
